Galila’s P.O.C. (Passion Obsession Collection) in Brussels is home to over 400 contemporary artworks curated across more than 20 eclectic themes — including eyes, books, chairs, recycling, and religion — reflecting the singular, intuitive vision of collector Galila Barzilaï-Hollander.
Since October 2020, these works have been presented to the public through the permanent exhibition titled Overdose, offering a vibrant and eclectic experience of contemporary art.
Among the collection’s early acquisitions is AES+F’s painting, Inverso Mundus, Inquisition or Women’s Labor #1 (2015, oil on canvas, 205 × 180 cm), which became part of Galila’s P.O.C. in 2016 and remains on permanent display today.
Housed in a meticulously restored 1950s industrial building in the Forest district of Brussels, the exhibition space — reimagined by architect Bruno Corbisier — unfolds as a contemporary cabinet of curiosities: a place of wonder, play, and discovery. Galila describes the experience as “a playground for adults where children are allowed,” inviting visitors to explore the collection freely, beyond traditional labels and hierarchies.
Visits are available by reservation only, either on selected public days or through private group appointments.
