At the site of the historic iron foundry in Schleswig Holstein, a prestigious international art exhibition NordArt has developed into one of the largest annual contemporary art shows in Europe in less than a quarter of a century. Hundreds of artworks from all over the world will collaborate once more to form a collective narrative that maps the current dreams and concerns of humanity. From 1 June to 6 October 2024, NordArt will host the curated works by 200 artists.
There have been 57 award winners since 2010 whose works will be shown in and around the Carlshütte during 2024 and form the Focus of the Anniversary Edition of the exhibition.
AES+F traditionally participates in the NordArt festival. This year we will present the large scale sculpture First Rider (2007, steel, fiberglass with polymer enamel paint, 260 X 400 X 580 cm).
