It's hard to argue with the fact that now, video games can be considered as a form of new art. More and more people are devoting their time to video games, because they combine an incredible number of very different elements, such as architecture, painting, sculpture, music, performing arts, poetry, cinema, and comics cohabit creating stratified collective worlds etc. An exhibition organized in La Venaria Reale, will consider video games as something more than just entertainment, it will try to perceive “video games as the “tenth form of art” performed by 3 billion people worldwide, acknowledging its profound impacts on contemporary society”. Our Warrior sculptures from Action Half Life project will be part of the exposition, exploring the interaction between the younger generation and video games.
The show is curated by Fabio Viola and Guido Curta and along with our sculptures will also feature works by Bill Viola, Invader, Cao Fei, Jago, Banksi, Tabor Robak, and Federico Clapis.
