Following a major reconstruction of its building, Gallery Victoria in Samara reopens with the exhibition The Most Beautiful Place I’ve Ever Been, which explores the theme of landscape in Russian and international art of the 20th–21st centuries and reflects on the cultural identity of Samara and the Volga region.
AES+F are represented by porcelain sculptures from the Mare Mediterraneum series (2018, courtesy of the Andrey Cheglakov Foundation).
The exhibition includes works by Takashi Murakami, Mario Testino, Wolfgang Tillmans, Andreas Gursky, Peter Doig, Jutta Koether, Erik Bulatov, Valentina Kropivnitskaya, Alexander Vinogradov & Vladimir Dubossarsky, Oleg Kulik, and Valery Koshlyakov.
