AES+F participates in the Chengdu Biennale at the Chengdu Museum of Contemporary Art and Chengdu Tianfu Art Museum, presenting Inverso Mundus, a three-channel video installation, alongside selected works from the same project.
The Chengdu Biennale (Chengdu 双年展) is a major international contemporary art event in China, first launched in 2001 and over time evolving into one of the country’s most important platforms for global artistic exchange, showcasing works by both established and emerging artists from across the world.
The 2026 edition opened on February 8 2026 and brings together a substantial range of contemporary artistic practices under a dynamic curatorial framework. Hosted in Chengdu’s vibrant cultural landscape, the Biennale highlights the city’s growing role as a centre for contemporary art in Southwest China, engaging diverse perspectives on artistic expression in a rapidly changing global context.
