AES+F participates in Pulse of Life · Chengdu Biennale 2026 with Inverso Mundus, 2015, a three-channel video installation, alongside selected works from the same project.
The Biennale unfolds through six curated sections. AES+F is presented in the section The Extraordinary in the Ordinary, curated by He Guiyan.
Inverso Mundus — “the world upside down” — transforms the visual tradition of medieval carnival into a contemporary allegory, where social roles, hierarchies, and desires are reversed, exchanged, and suspended.
