In our statement “ON RUSSIA'S INVASION OF UKRAINE” we mentioned our friend Vira Nanivska and her artist residency “Rosokhy SAS NEST” in Ukraine which along with nearby villages became a shelter for Ukrainian refugees in the latest months.
The residency has already received an initial donation from us. We are now initiating a charity project with the Pino Pascali Foundation and the International Center “European Integration of Ukraine” to support the Ukrainian residency Rosokhy SAS NEST”.
Our work Inverso Mundus will be screened in the main room of the Pino Pascali Foundation from 09.07.2022 - till 02.10.2022. The audience can reflect upon the positions that have been put forward in cultural debates during these dramatic weeks that have seen the war in Ukraine unfold, and to present contemporary art as a peaceful tool, a common ground that brings people from different countries and cultures together.
During the video screening, the viewers will have the opportunity to donate to the Art Residence “Rosokhy Sas Nest” in Ukraine and their rehabilitation program in collaboration with the Center, in the spirit of cooperation that sees art as a bond between cultures that goes beyond borders in support of humanity. Please use these banking details for donations via the International Center “European Integration of Ukraine” if you are willing to support the residence initiatives.
